COUNSELLING & FACILITATION

Lore McLaren

I am passionate about healing

Trauma resolution is at the core of my work.  I facilitate the cultivation of compassion, stability, present moment awareness, embodiment and vitality.

I have over 15 years of experience counselling adults and youth. Areas of focus:

trauma, stress, shame, grief/loss, empowerment, inner child work, spiritual exploration, 2SLGBTQIA+.

While my approach often integrates mindfulness, the breath, creativity, spirituality and the soul; decoloniality, love, respect and wholesome humour often weave their way into my work.

I have formal training in Relational Somatic Therapy, Somatic Transformation, Expressive Arts Therapy, Relational Neuroscience, Mindfulness Based Trauma Counselling, and Conscious Connected Breathwork.

"There is no more worthy, more glorious, or more potent work, than to work with light." - Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

The depths of human suffering and the soul-restoring gifts of healing are what I know well from personal experience.

For much of my life I have been working through the impacts of deep trauma.  I continue to find tremendous healing and inspiration through modalities, mentors and teachers in mindfulness, art, wilderness, relational somatic therapy, yoga, the breath, the Plants, ceremony and stewarding the Sacred.

I am deeply devoted to learn, refine and master love, peacefulness and the skillful empowering of our collective and planetary healing and harmony.

I am a depth dweller with integrity, creativity and Spirit.  I like getting to the heart of the matter.

I love water, winged ones and whales.
I love words and the wonder and wisdom of the Plants.
